About Me

I have been a graphic designer for over 20 years. Starting in the good old days of cut -and-paste on my faithful old drawing board with typesetters and bromide paper, all the way to the present day Mac and PC based graphic design.

 

I have worked and lived on three continents with wide experience and exposure. Starting in Zambia, Africa were I worked at Associated Printers, I moved to England in the mid 1990's to advance my career and graphic design knowledge at the time when the Apple Macintosh had gained prominence in the graphics world. I studied, lived and worked in Reading, England before relocating to the United States where I have been for most of this decade. I currently work at Platinum Marketing based in the Houston, Texas area as the head graphic designer and creative mind.

 

I am Mac and PC literate specializing in Adobe's Creative Suite set of design tools. Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and Dreamweaver are my graphic and web site design tools of choice and the ones I specialize in. I have been designing websites for over 8 years keeping my XHTML and CSS knowledge up to date in the ever changing and fast evolving world of web design. Although I am not a programmer (developer), I dabble in jQuery, javascript and Flash Action script from time to time and as need be.

 

I teach part time at Brazosport College where I am an Adobe Photoshop CS3 and Indesign CS3 instructor.
